This is a very nice laptop.
The battery life isnt the best, but that's because it's a powerful laptop.
I was debating on getting this or the Eee PC T91 Touchscreen that my roommate got. I am glad I made this choice. His screen is too small, only has 16GB ssd, and touchscreen isnt as nice. On the other hand, his battery life is longer, and his laptop has no moving parts (no hdd or fan). This also has a much better cpu (I would have preferred Intel, but AMD is good too), and a lot more RAM. Mine is better.
I really like the fingerprint scanner. My last laptop had one, but the location on this one is better. Everything works great in Windows 7 RC. Waiting for my upgrade from Vista to 7 rmt, but I know everything will work fine.
I also bought the 3yr warranty plan from squaretrade. I would definitely recommend getting that as well if you buy this laptop, or any laptop. You cant beat 3 yrs for $100, especially with a touchscreen that could mess up on you. Dont take a $900 chance, and feel secure. Get more detail about HP TouchSmart TX2-1270US 12.1-Inch Laptop.
